FEMININE RISE
The Podcast
Our podcast is a collection of stories and think pieces from prominent teachers, elders, leaders and wisdom keepers of the ancient feminine frequency. We gather these stories as a way of platforming the voices of wise women within this age of the rising feminine. We focus primarily on the wisdom from These Islands - the rituals, ancestral practices and wild magick of the wise folk from Britain and Ireland, remembering our power as daughters of this Earth and vessels of the feminine flame - carrying the transmission of peaceful leadership into a new era of humanity.

HEALING COLONIAL IMPRINTS AND BECOMING THE ANCESTOR OF TOMORROW WITH TARA BRADING

THRESHOLDS OF AUTUMN AND COURTING THE SHADOW WITH ISLA MACLEOD
Happy Mabon / Autumn Equinox and welcome to episode 1 of Feminine Rise, a podcast by The Sacred Sisterhood.
In this episode we talk to the brilliant Isla Macleod about rituals for life, courting the shadow, rites of passage and inspiration for honouring this Equinox.
Isla Macleod is a ceremonialist, ritual designer and companion at thresholds. Dedicated to restoring the Sacred and inspiring a loving, reciprocal relationship with the natural world, Isla curates healing journeys, transformational spaces and soul-crafting ceremonies that help activate pathways of remembrance and belonging.
Her book ‘Rituals for Life’ is a guide for honouring our natural transitions and cultivating more magic, meaning and connection in everyday life.
The practice of ritual feels like a deeply medicinal return to our ancestral roots, honouring and weaving ourselves back into wholeness - a re-membering of the feminine spirit of land and those who walked before us. We talk about how cultivating a ritual practice can help to mend our individual and collective relationship with the feminine, inviting us to heal the patriarchal wounds that have kept us separate from our ancient Earth-based spiritual practices and from one another.
You can find Isla's work over on her website and on her Instagram.
